Markets Up Across The Globe

US market futures were all green Wednesday morning ahead of pending home sales data. Nasdaq futures are up 120 points, or 0.94%, followed by S&P and Dow futures up 0.92% and 0.76%, respectively.

  • The 10-year treasury is down 4 basis points from yesterday’s close to 3.53% and oil is holding at $73.59.

EUROPE. European markets were all green halfway through trading news on news that UBS’ former leader, Sergio Ermotti, will return as chief executive as the Swiss banking giant moves into a new era with its takeover of Credit Suisse. France’s CAC index is, so far, having the best day up 94 points, or 1.33% followed by Germany and England up 0.90% and 0.70%, respectively.

ASIA. Asian markets were mostly green with the Hang Seng Index leading the way with a 407-point jump followed by Japan’s Nikkei index which ended the day up 1.33%. Shanghai was the only major index in the red this morning ending the trading day down 5 points.
