After a slightly down trading day on Monday, US equity markets are green ahead of Tuesday’s open. S&P futures are leading the way with an 8-point gain, or 0.21%, followed by Dow & Nasdaq futures up 0.20% and 0.11%, respectively.
- The 10-year note is down about two basis points to start the day at 3.83 and bitcoin is under 16k at 15,832.
Euro Area. European markets are also in the green halfway through the trading day with the FTSE up 44 points, or 0.60%, and Germany’s DAX is barely in positive territory with a 0.11% gain.
Asia. Asian markets were mixed to close out the day with the biggest move happening in Hong Kong with the HSI falling 231 points, or 1.31%, while the Nikkei and Shanghai were up 0.61% and 0.13%, respectively.
