Fryman points out that the surge isn’t over yet and that is definitely true for some regions. In many parts of the South housing markets are still very hot. However, the great cooling has begun and that is a good thing. Remember, this is why the Fed is raising rates. Slowing demand and getting housing back to normal is much more desirable than a crash.
