Stock Market Gives Back Wednesday’s Gains And Then Some

Apparently, on Wall Street what goes up must come down, and down, and down. An absolute bloodbath for every single index today. The NASDAQ led the bloodletting with a 4.28% drop, or 647 points, followed by the S&P 500 and the Dow down 3.56% and 3.12%, respectively.

  • The 10-year briefly fell under 3.0% at the beginning of the trading day. As the market tanked yield on the 10-year climbed above 3.1% before closing the day at 3.03%.
  • Oil was down two dollars to end the day at $108 per barrel.
