Markets Up To Start the Short Week

Markets are optimistic to start the short trading week with Nasdaq futures leading the way up 189 points, or 1.68%, pre-market followed S&P and Dow futures up 1.65% and 1.49%, respectively. The 10-yr is mostly unchanged after its big drop last week at 3.28% and oil is up slightly to $109 a barrel.

Existing home sales will be getting a lot of attention this morning when those numbers are released at 8:30 AM. They are projected to fall by 3.7% in May providing more evidence that the housing market continues to slow down…
